Use of a validated method instills confidence that the method will generate data of acceptable quality, reliability, and consistency. There are two components to method validation, 1.) Instrument Analysis, and 2.) Sample Preparation.

Instrument Analysis
Botanacor’s instrument validation initiative includes the following steps:
- Accuracy
- Precision
- Repeatability
- Intermediate Precision
- Specificity
- Linearity
- Range
- Limit of Quantitation
- Limit of Detection
- Analytical Sensitivity

Sample Preparation
Once the Instrument Method is validated, the Sample Preparation method is validated. Cannabinoid extraction from flowers, concentrates, and infused products is validated to ensure complete extraction every time without significant degradation to the compounds of interest. Without a sufficient extraction method, the results will appear lower than the true value.
System Suitability
The next step in the Botanacor Validated Laboratory System is System Suitability.
